IFA DIVINATION

 The Ifá divination tray is utilized as the highest form of Ifa divination by trained Spiritual Teachers who work with the Orixá called Orula (Orunmila).

The four cardinal points of the tray orient the reading cosmologically and draw into the session an array of spiritual forces.

Vovó Anamalia is a Spirit Being who connected with Andrée, a Medium, in 1996.

In the Brazilian Spiritual Traditions Vovó is from the lineage of Preta Velhas who come to help people with their sufferings and difficulties in life.

In her last life on earth Vovó Anamalia lived in Africa and was considered a Medicine Woman among her people.

Today Vovó works in the tradition of the Orixás, utilizing the natural energy formations within the universe to heal people and our earth.

THE CIRCLES OF VOVO ANAMALIA

Each time Vovó Anamalia appears, using Andrée as the Medium, Vovó draws a circle. In early 2007 Andrée saw a Yoruba divination tray and was amazed to see the similarity to Vovó's circle.

Andrée did not grow up in the Yoruba tradition of the Orixás, has only become familiar with the tradition in the past 12 years and relies completely on Vovó to give the Orixá knowledge.

Vovó says she sees from above looking down on the earth and not within the 3rd dimension so that her "cardinal points" are different. Vovó says she uses her circle to connect people with the forces of the universe, as a portal.

Vovó has evolved a way to convey her wisdom by using modern methods such as colored candles and the like. It is amazing to see how closely aligned her knowledge is with the tradition of the Orixás.

The slideshow shows various circles created by Vovó Anamalia. Most of the sessions were for individuals, some with groups and one in a university class for students studying Women's Spirituality.
